Artist's Statement

I'm interested in exploring. I think as humans we are not in our greatest state until we are at play. We must continue to constantly play and explore the world around us. My work is a reflection of my need to constantly continue playing. I'm interested in finding a space within my art making where I can get lost in the process and reach that meditative state that reminds me why I continue making art. As I grow, read, learn, and develop as an artist, I find out more about what message I'm interested in conveying.
