Artist's Statement

Penny lives in Southern California, where she devotes most of her time to her art. Originally from Denmark she brings a mix of cultures and ideas into her artwork. She is fascinated by Eastern religion, love and death, beauty and pain and the magnificent power of form and line.

Her artwork is colorful and surrealistic, she creates scenes from vivid dream-like worlds, almost always utilizing the human figure as our guide.
