Artist's Statement

During my college career I went through phases of making drawings, paintings, animated shorts and video games. My current practice consists of small plein air paintings exploring different styles and color schemes. With these I am striving to find a middle ground between my Hudson River school heroes and the almighty Vincent van Gogh.
